Insurance and Payment

I accept insurance from the following insurance providers:

OUT OF NETWORK

I will do my best to work out a fee that works for both of us.  If I am not on your insurance provider plan, most likely your plan will cover therapy and you can see me as an “out-of-network” provider.  In that case I will give you a “super bill” which you can submit to your insurance company to reimburse you at their allowable rate. A super bill is a standardized form that insurance companies recognize.

Whether you see an “in” or “out-of-network” provider, your insurance company will charge you your deductible up front. A co-pay is the amount you are required to pay at the time of each session.  It is determined by your insurance plan.

Please check with your insurance provider for detail information about your coverage. If you are insured by any of the insurance carriers on the list below, and  if you prefer, my insurance billing specialist can verify your status and coverage to determine your deductible and any co-pay.

Employee Assistance Plans

If you have an employee assistance plan, you might be covered for a certain number of individual, couples, or family psychotherapy sessions. In most cases you will not be required to pay any thing out-of-pocket for a limited number of sessions.  Once the covered number of sessions are completed, you would have to go through your insurance plan or pay out- of- pocket for any additional treatment.

 FEES AND PAYMENT

Individual and couples sessions are 50 minutes duration. Our sessions will begin and end on time.

I accept payment by cash or check at the time of each session. It is more efficient and saves session time  if you pay at the start of each session.

I offer a sliding scale fee for pre-licensed MFT candidates and on a case-by-case basis.

I will do my best to work out a fee that works for both of us.

Sessions are 50 minutes each and start and end on time.  When you enter my office waiting room, please press the call light button above my name.  I will greet you at our assigned time.
